Science Forum Committee

Science is not a subject which can be stacked away among hefty books waiting for students to stumble upon. Every effort has to be made to extract teh essence of science from these books and deliver them ina student frieddly name. The Science Forum series is a flagship event that is initiated by S. S. Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre in the year 2010. It serves as a means to reach out to scientists and scientific communities largely external to the Medical association. It is the association of the students to conduct various activities regarding science and to educate people regarding the importance of science.

The science forum proposes to

• Widen the scope of research and understanding
• Acquaint the students with recent advancements in science
• Bridge the gap between pure, applied and basic sciences
• Create awareness among the general public
